Delaware County Ohio Broadband Survey

To our Delaware County colleagues:

The Commissioners’ Office today has launched a community survey to learn more about the state of broadband/internet services in the county. The 2020 U.S. Census showed that there are many parts of the county that do not have access to reliable and affordable internet service. In order to develop strategies that will help us help internet service providers overcome the economic obstacles to providing better service, we have launched this survey and hope that you will help us get it out to the public. It will be open until Dec. 4.

Anyone who lives or works in Delaware County can take the online survey at: www.bit.ly/delawarecountybroadbandIt takes about 3-5 minutes to complete and should be taken using the internet connection and device that one normally uses (like a laptop, tablet or smartphone). The survey includes taking a “speed test” of one’s connection. When you get to that part, it opens up a new tab where you just need to click on the word “Go” and let it run. When the speed test is completed, it will generate two numbers for you (a download and an upload speed). You’ll go back to the survey tab and enter those numbers into the boxes where prompted.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Thank you!
