As in any township in the State of Ohio there are many roads. Most townships have Interstate, State, County and Township roads. The responsibility of maintaining the Township roads falls on the Township Trustees and Roads Department. The many aspects of road maintenance include paving, patching, berming, plowing snow in the winter, maintaining drainage, mowing and assisting residents with problems. All this requires a dedicated crew of individuals. Berlin Township is fortunate to have such personnel.
ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKER
Berlin Township is accepting applications for the position of a full time Road Maintenance Worker. A High School diploma is required. Previous maintenance and / or construction experience along with a CDL is desirable. A resident of Berlin Township is desirable but not mandatory. Responsibilities include general road maintenance, road side mowing, cemetery and building maintenance, snow plowing, manual labor as required, etc. Salary range will be $15.00-$23.00 / hour plus insurance benefits and is commensurate with experience.
